Karee Ruth is a native East Tennesseean and graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Nursing and Tennessee Wesleyan College-Fort Sanders School of Nursing in Knoxville. She is board certified with American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). During her undergraduate education, she spent time working in the GI Endoscopy Center at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. While completing her master’s degree, she worked on a complex medical-surgical floor at Fort Sanders. She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers (GHAPP).
Karee’s passion for gastroenterology began at an early age. She enjoys spending time educating her patients on various conditions and management. Karee and her husband reside in Knoxville. In her spare time, Karee enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening and traveling.
