What is the best thing about your job or profession?

I am grateful to be trusted to walk with patients and their families through the successes and challenges they face medically, whether it is something transient or uncertain and life-changing.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?

I like to work with my hands, and dabble in woodworking, welding and other such endeavors.

Finish this sentence. On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me …

Up early, spending some time in self-reflection and prayer.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?

Spending quality time with my sons, and anything (literally) outdoors — from hiking and gardening to some exercise, golfing, or just sitting on the patio watching the sky and listening to the sounds.

What is your personal motto, mantra or verse?

Always grateful. 1 Thes 5:16-24, Always seeking. Matt 6:25-34
