Bio
Melanie is a native East Tennessean and graduate of East Tennessee State University where she completed her Masters of Science of Nursing. She is board certified by the AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners). Shortly after obtaining her Associate’s degree in Nursing, she started working for Gastrointestinal Associates in 2006 as the GI hospitalist’s RN, working in the hospital setting for several years. She then worked in the office at GIA fulfilling multiple roles while obtaining her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing.
Melanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, reading, music, and attending concerts.
